The Korea Economic Development Association and KPP (Canada-DPRK Knowledge Partnership Programme of the University of British Columbia in Canada) agreed to organize a field tour of special economic zones in the DPRK and hold a seminar between April 26 and May 3 2014.
As world-renowned experts on SEZ will come to Pyongyang, visit the existing and new economic development zones and present at the seminar on the basis of their individual views and experience on the other special zones in the world, the field tour and meeting will provide an opportunity to consolidate the achievements made in the international conference on the SEZ development held in Pyongyang in October 2013.
In connection with this, the Korea Economic Development Association and Park Kyung Ae, professor at the University of British Columbia in Canada, jointly published a press release on April 18.
