Suzy Kim is Assistant Professor
in the
Department of Asian Languages & Cultures at Rutgers University, and has published the book “Everyday Life in the North Korean Revolution, 1945-1950” thus far. In this seminar, she explored a related subject to the book, focusing on archival photos to explain her points about the stereotypization of North Korea in the media as well as demonstrating a new historical outlook on North Korea’s beginning years.
