Grounded on solid people-to-people connections, shared values, and economic partnerships, Korea-Canada relations have developed significantly since establishing formal diplomatic ties sixty years ago. Having each released its Indo-Pacific strategy last year, Korea and Canada seek to redefine their regional roles, showing great interest in working together to achieve mutual goals and further strengthening the Korea-Canada partnership.
The talk will include two presentations by senior Korean and Canadian officials on the importance of the Korea-Canada relationship. This will be followed by a panel of experts from academia, the government, and the private sector, who will break down key elements of each nation’s approach to the Indo-Pacific region to identify areas of mutual interest and potential for future collaboration.
